Master of Science in Health Engineering (BMED)
The Master of Science in Engineering in Healthcare Engineering (BMED), co-accredited with Jean Monnet University (UJM), trains specialists capable of designing, developing, and evaluating innovative devices, technologies, and methodologies for healthcare. Driven by an interdisciplinary approach combining biomechanics, bioinstrumentation, digital health, and biomedical data analysis, the BMED programme draws on the expertise of the Centre for Biomedical and Healthcare Engineering (CIS) at Mines Saint-Étienne and its collaborations with hospital, industrial, and academic partners in the region. It prepares students for careers in R&D, clinical engineering, healthcare project management, or for pursuing a PhD.
Master of Science in Engineering in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research (IEOR)
The Master of Science in Engineering in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research (IEOR) trains international experts capable of optimizing complex industrial and service systems. This programme of excellence is based on an interdisciplinary approach combining industrial engineering, operations research, decision support, and supply chain management. Supported by the scientific expertise of Mines Saint-Étienne and the LIMOS laboratory, the IEOR track emphasizes mathematical modeling and managerial innovation to meet the challenges of Industry 4.0.
