Become an Embedded Electronic Systems Engineer: at the heart of smart technologies

Are you passionate about technological innovation, smart systems, electronics and embedded computing?
The Embedded Electronic Systems Engineer (ISEE) programme at Mines Saint-Étienne, in partnership with ISTP, prepares you to design, develop and lead communicating, autonomous and reliable electronic systems.

In a world where embedded electronics are everywhere — automotive, aerospace, connected objects, healthcare, energy — the ISEE engineer imagines and builds tomorrow’s technological solutions.
They master both electronic architectures, embedded software development and systems engineering methods.

100 % work-study programme
Duration: 3 years apprenticeship

Why choose the Embedded Electronic Systems Engineer programme?

A programme accredited by the CTI

Recognized engineering program, delivered by Mines Saint-Étienne in partnership with ISTP.

Expertise at the heart of innovation

Embedded systems are present in all industrial sectors: automotive and electric vehicles, aerospace and space, rail and maritime, connected objects and IoT, energy, robotics, healthcare…

Three years of immersion in industry

You progress in step with real industrial projects: electronic board, embedded software, communications, security, test benches…

A comprehensive approach: electronics + software + systems

The curriculum develops a highly sought-after dual skill set: embedded electronics, real-time computing, system design and integration, security and communication.

Individualised support

An ISTP engineer tutor

Each student is supported for three years by an ISTP engineer tutor (from industry), whose role is to pass on professional attitudes and practices.

A company tutor

Oversees your assignments, facilitates your integration and validates your objectives.
