The SMS Center at Mines Saint-Étienne conducts research, academics, and innovation activities focused on the design, processing, characterization, and behavior of materials and structures. It supports industrial transitions by integrating challenges related to material performance, durability, and environmental impact.
Joining the SMS Center means entering a high-level scientific environment at the interface of materials engineering, mechanics, numerical modeling, and ecodesign, in close collaboration with industry.
