The Energy Engineering Specialist (ISE) program at Mines Saint-Étienne, in partnership with ISTP, prepares you to analyze, optimize, and transform energy systems across all industrial and tertiary sectors.
In a global context marked by major climate, political, and socio-economic challenges, the ISE engineer proposes relevant technical solutions, designs high-performance installations, and manages short- and long-term energy efficiency projects.
They conduct diagnostics, optimize processes, support low-carbon strategies, and ensure continuous technological and regulatory monitoring.

An ISTP engineer tutor
Each student is supported for three years by an ISTP engineer tutor (from industry), whose role is to pass on professional attitudes and practices.
A company tutor
Supervises your assignments, validates your progress, and integrates you into the teams.
Mines Saint-Étienne teaching staff
Provide scientific, technical, and managerial supervision, support your thesis and professional development.
Continuous monitoring throughout the 3 years
