The Centre of Microelectronics in Provence relies on a solid network of recognized Research Units, combining scientific excellence and industrial partnerships. These units cover complementary disciplinary fields at the intersection of microelectronics, computer science, materials, neurosciences, and cybersecurity.

The Laboratory of Computer Science, Modeling and System Optimization develops cutting-edge research in computer science, modeling, optimization, and information processing, with direct applications for industry and embedded systems.

The result of a partnership between the École des Mines de Saint-Étienne and the CEA – PACA Regional Technological Center, this joint unit conducts work on cybersecurity, the design of secure embedded systems, and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies.

The CMP collaborates with the IM2NP (UMR CNRS 7334) on themes related to functional materials, micro-nanoelectronics, and the advanced characterization of electronic devices. This partnership strengthens synergies around research in flexible and printed electronics.

As part of projects in neurotechnologies and brain-machine interfaces, the CMP cooperates with the INT (UMR CNRS 7289), a major player in neuroscience research in Marseille. This collaboration makes it possible to explore the interactions between electronics, biological signals, and cognition.
