Understand, model, and analyze real-world images using advanced mathematics

The Master of Science in Engineering MISPA is a program of excellence within the national Master of Science in Engineering Optics, Image, Vision, Multimedia (OIVM). It is jointly accredited by four major higher education and research institutions: Jean Monnet University Saint-Étienne, École des Mines de Saint-Étienne, Institut d’Optique Graduate School, and École Centrale de Lyon.
This one-year program, taught in English, trains experts capable of processing, analyzing, and interpreting complex images using advanced tools from mathematics, computer science, and geometric modeling.

Program Objectives

The Master of Science in Engineering MISPA aims to train high-level specialists capable of:
