The ID-Fab technology platform, located on Mines Saint-Étienne’s Aix-Marseille-Provence campus, is a space dedicated to innovation in connected objects and sensitive interfaces. It brings together state-of-the-art equipment for design, prototyping and manufacturing, providing a collaborative environment for researchers, companies and students to develop high value-added products.

The European Union, the Ministry of National Education, Higher Education and Research, the Sud Region, the Aix-Marseille-Provence Metropolis and the Departmental Council of Bouches-du-Rhône provided support for the establishment of ID-Fab.

The ID-Fab project is linked to the Campus des métiers et des qualifications “industrie du futur Sud”, labelled a Campus of Excellence, which brings together stakeholders in the microelectronics and computer science sectors.
