Two key programs: VAE & distance learning

To address very specific needs — have experience recognized or train with time and location constraints — Mines Saint-Étienne offers two complementary programs.

Validation of Acquired Experience (VAE)

The VAE allows you to obtain a professional certification by having skills acquired through professional or personal experience recognized.
At Mines Saint-Étienne, it provides access to certain diplomas registered with the RNCP, with a level of requirement equivalent to other pathways to the diploma.
It is open to anyone, regardless of age, status, or level of education.

Distance Academics

Distance learning programs allow you to develop skills while balancing professional activity, geographical constraints, and personal pace.

Mines Saint-Étienne contributes to an offering of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), accessible remotely, useful for discovering a field, consolidating fundamentals, or preparing for skill enhancement.
