The Preparatory and Diploma Programme in Engineering and Health (PDIS) is a unique two-year post-baccalaureate programme in France, designed as an alternative to preparatory classes (CPGE) and the medical entrance exam. This selective programme is aimed at high school graduates wishing to explore the fields of engineering and health, without having to choose immediately between these two paths. At the end of the cycle, students obtain two degrees: an institutional “PDIS” degree from Mines Saint-Étienne and a “Health Sciences” Bachelor’s Degree from Jean Monnet University, allowing them to continue in engineering or health studies.
