Six new project leaders are being welcomed to our campuses in January 2018; a total of 16 startups are now hosted within the TEAM@Mines Saint-Étienne program. This is an opportunity for our School to strengthen its mission of supporting innovative projects that draw on the skills of our research teams.

SWAP, PanaXium, xRapid, SportBak, Air Space Drone, Milphi Technologies, and PandaOrthopedics are joined this year by AIM and Inidinn at the Georges Charpak Provence Campus. Three projects are continuing their maturation at the Saint-Étienne sites—DmDev, Predisurge, and Optiwaves—and four new projects have joined the program: Systole, Stansea, Bik’Box, and Imope.

It should be noted that at various stages of their project’s maturation, several hosted projects will call upon multiple areas of expertise within the different research and teaching centers across our two campuses.

Discover in this special issue:

AIM is developing ExoGlove, an exoskeletal structure that can be integrated into clothing

Bik’Box, the smart parking solution of tomorrow

IMOPE creates the link between big data and web mapping

Inidinn, a turnkey solution for connected object projects

StanSea, the benefits of mother-of-pearl to fight osteoporosis

Systole detects heart rhythm disorders using biosensors

International solutions: successful feedback from CES

They started here… (“success stories”)

News and highlights from the hosted projects can be followed on our websites and social networks, in particular: @TeamMINES
