FUSION students participate in the student life of both schools:

At Mines Saint-Étienne

• Student Office (BDE): campus life organization, events, mentorship.
• Arts Office (BDA) and Sports Office (BDS): culture, competitions, sports activities.
• Thematic associations: Mines Énergies, Ecomines, Humanimines, Junior Études Projet, Robotics, Photography Club, Mountain Club, Sustainable Development, etc.

At emlyon business school

• Over 60 student associations: entrepreneurship, consulting, finance, humanitarian, sports, culture.
• Innovation clubs: Maker’s Lab, EMLyon Ventures, Student Startup Factory, etc.

Accommodation in Saint-Étienne and Lyon

During the first year: the Maison des Élèves (ME)

Owned by Mines Saint-Étienne Alumni, the Maison des Élèves – nicknamed “la Meuh” – is the center of student life in Saint-Étienne.
Located just a 10-minute walk from the School and near the city center, it welcomes students from all cohorts in a friendly, modern, and secure environment.

Housing

• 222 rooms and 143 APL-approved studios, including 5 accessible to people with reduced mobility.
• Fully equipped accommodation, free and unlimited internet connection.
• Common areas for cultural, sports, and associative activities.
• Continuous administrative and technical assistance, and permanent surveillance.

Indicative rates (after APL deduction)

Rents vary according to the conditions for CAF aid allocation.
The residence administration is managed by the Association de Gestion de la Maison des Élèves (AGME), which involves the school and residents.

Subsequent years in Lyon

When moving to the emlyon business school campus, students can:

• reserve accommodation in the emlyon student residence,
• benefit from partnerships with private university or student residences,
• use the emlyon accommodation platform to find shared accommodation or a studio.

A housing support service guides students in settling in Lyon and informs them about available aid (APL, ALS, mobility grants).
