Who is the Embedded Electronic Systems Engineering program for?

The ISEE program is designed for candidates passionate about technology, innovation, electronics, intelligent systems, and connected objects.
It is an ideal path for those who wish to design embedded systems that are increasingly high-performance, secure, communicative, and autonomous.

ISEE engineers work at the heart of technological projects in sectors where embedded electronics play a strategic role: transport, aeronautics, defense, medical, energy, IoT…

Desired Qualities

The program is suitable if you are:

  • Technically curious, with a strong interest in electronics and computer science
  • Comfortable with experimentation, testing, and handling technological tools
  • Creative, motivated by innovation and the design of new solutions
  • Rigorous in analysis, modeling, and problem-solving
  • Able to communicate and work in a team, often in multidisciplinary environments
  • Methodical, detail-oriented, and results-driven
  • Autonomous and persistent, ready to lead a project from start to finish

👉 The ideal profile combines a scientific mindset, creativity, and the ability to take a step back and look at the overall architecture of a system.

Your place in the embedded systems sector

ISEE engineers are in demand in sectors where technological innovation is rapid:

  • automotive (autonomous vehicles, ADAS, electric),
  • aeronautics and space,
  • connected objects (IoT),
  • telecommunications and industry 4.0,
  • energy and smart grids,
  • healthcare (electronic devices, medical sensors),
  • rail or naval transport,
  • electronic design offices, consulting, and engineering firms.

Their strength: a dual expertise in electronics + embedded software, which is highly sought after in the market.

Compatible Backgrounds

You are under 30 years old or are covered by legal exemptions.

The program welcomes candidates who hold or are currently pursuing:

  • BUT in the fields of electronics or computer science
  • L3, or even L2, in a scientific or technical field with a focus on electronics
  • Bachelor’s degree in technology or science and engineering
  • BTS (SN…) specializing in electronics and/or computer science with a strong academic record
  • 2nd year of CPGE (TSI, PT, MPSI, PSI)
  • ATS preparatory cycle

👉 The diversity of profiles is a key asset of the program.

Work-study: a pillar of the program

The ISEE program takes place exclusively under an apprenticeship contract over 3 years.
Final admission depends on signing a contract with a company.

Each candidate will benefit from comprehensive support:

  • individual coaching,
  • interview preparation,
  • direct connection with partner companies,
  • support until the contract is signed.

On average, each eligible student receives 20 mission offers matching their profile.

An internationally-oriented profile

Embedded technologies are global, as are the standards, architectures, and tools used.

The program includes a minimum of 12 weeks abroad, allowing for:

  • company immersion,
  • development of technical English,
  • understanding of various technological contexts,
  • cultural openness.

📌 In summary

The ISEE program is for you if you want to:

  • work on innovative embedded technologies;
  • design electronic boards, firmware, or communication systems;
  • work on projects related to aeronautics, automotive, IoT, or space;
  • develop your skills in electronics, embedded computing, and systems engineering;
  • lead technical projects with a strong R&D focus.

👉 You are in the right place if you are curious, persistent, and passionate about technology, innovation, and complex systems.
