“Food logistics and resilience in extended urban areas”

As part of the REFLEX project “Resilience and Flexibility of Food Logistics in EXtended urban areas”, funded by the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, Professor Mario Chong, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Universidad del Pacífico in Peru, was hosted in Saint-Étienne from February 18 to 20.
This visit focused both on collaboration opportunities with our Peruvian partner (a collaboration agreement was signed in 2018 for student exchanges and academic collaborations in the fields of computer science and industrial engineering) and on the REFLEX project, conducted in partnership with MIT (SCUSI project).
Professor Chong also presented a seminar on the theme “Humanitarian logistics planning: focus on Latin America”.
