Following the annual Handitech day, disability awareness is carried out through several actions: support for Madina Naukanova’s project between Saint-Étienne and Alma-Ata in Kazakhstan for the night of disability on June 15, and the awarding of the Handimanager 2019 label to 9 engineering students.
9 ICM and ISMIN students received the Handimanager Label 2019
“Motivated students, transformed, open-minded, aware, convinced that values and human relationships are the keys to good management / Significant milestones bringing a real dimension to knowledge / A professionalizing step and a commitment that also helps to envision our future role as managers / The Handimanager label helps to best prepare for this work situation by providing greater openness and knowledge” – Excerpts from the Verbatim of recently labeled students.
We extend our warmest congratulations to the 9 students who received the Handimanager Label, 2019 cohort of the Companieros company.
Mines Saint-Étienne joins the Night of Disability 2019
The Night of Disability organized by the City of Saint-Étienne will take place on Saturday, June 15 from 2:00 PM. Mines Saint-Étienne is joining the event through Madina Naukanova’s project, which recently received the special mention of the Young Ambassadors Programme Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region.
A delegation from Kazakhstan will be welcomed in Saint-Étienne from June 13 to 16, particularly for a wheelchair sports dance demonstration.
In this context, a round table entitled “Inclusion without borders” is proposed on Friday, June 14 from 2:30 PM (amphitheater F2, Saint-Étienne campus) in the presence of institutional and associative representatives in charge of people with disabilities.
This discussion will also be dedicated to the development project of a long-term partnership between France and Kazakhstan to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities.
