As part of the 2019 generic call for projects, 7 projects submitted by Mines Saint-Étienne researchers were accepted by the French National Research Agency (ANR) across 5 different categories. 34 projects are currently underway.
The School’s areas of excellence are represented in these projects, which benefit from one of the following funding instruments: Young Female and Male Researchers (JCJC), Collaborative Research Projects (PRC), Collaborative Research Project-Enterprise (PRCE), or International Collaborative Research Project (PRCI).

– CosWot Project (PRC): “Semantic Web for constrained objects,” led by Frédérique Laforest, INSA Lyon, and coordinated at the School by Maxime Lefrançois.

– HERIA Project (PRCE): Irradiation-resistant high-entropy alloys led by Anna Fraczkiewicz
– CADOHRS Project (PRC): Computer-aided design of hydrogen-resistant superalloys coordinated by Frédéric Christien

– MISTRAL Project (PRC): Securing cryptographic algorithms through MRAM/CMOS hybridization led by Jean-Baptiste Rigaud
• “Interaction, robotics” theme
– OPTISKIN project (JCJC): Stretchable optical waveguides for artificial skin applications, led by Marc Ramuz
• “Scientific and technological innovations to support the ecological transition” theme
– SAFIRS Project (PRCE): Intelligent air filtration system and remote detection, coordinated by Marc Ramuz
