The “Bienvenue en France” label and the “CeQuInt” label attest to the quality of the School’s project in preparing its students for a career in an international and multicultural context. It demonstrates the relevance of our programmes throughout the curriculum, whether “at home” or “abroad”: illustrated by the international mobility of our ICM engineering students.

Since the start of the 2018 academic year, in addition to a mandatory minimum 3-month international experience for all our students, ICM students are strongly encouraged to undertake dual mobility, both academic AND professional. More than 150 mobility projects are planned for 2019 across the three cohorts.

Professional Mobility

74 internships abroad: 59 second-year students and 15 third-year students chose key destinations: the European Economic Area (35 internships), Asia (25), North America (10), and Africa (4).

Academic Mobility

70 short-term credit transfer mobilities are being prepared for Semester 7 for first-year students: 31 mobilities in Asia, 22 Erasmus mobilities, 17 mobilities to the American continent, including 8 in Latin America.

16 long-term mobility projects from the 3rd year are being finalized: Erasmus exchange years at the University of Bristol and TU Hamburg, double degrees at partner campuses in Quebec (École Polytechnique de Montréal, ETS), the United Kingdom (Imperial College London, Cranfield), Japan (Kyushu Institute of Technology), and South Korea (SNU).

These mobility projects benefit from significant financial support from our partners, the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region, the Erasmus+ Agency, the IMT (4 excellence scholarships awarded for double-degree projects), and the Mines-Télécom Foundation (around twenty scholarships currently being allocated for academic mobility or internships).
