JECH’50: organized by the Georges Friedel laboratory and the SPIN center, the 50th edition of the Heterogeneous Kinetics Study Days will take place on March 28 and 29.

The 5th edition of the Healthcare Systems Efficiency Day, co-organized by the Centre for Biomedical and Healthcare Engineering, Eovi Mcd mutuelle and the Aesio Group, will take place on Thursday, April 4, at Mines Saint-Étienne.
The chosen theme of Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare has the very practical objective of presenting projects, prototypes, and research results related to operational research, machine learning, and data science applied to healthcare.
The School will have the honor of welcoming Professor Bernard Nordlinger, a surgeon at APHP and member of the National Academy of Medicine, who, along with Cédric Villani, initiated the “Healthcare and Artificial Intelligence” working group.
JESS 2019 is organized jointly with the Operational Research and Healthcare (ROSa) research group, which will also meet on April 4.

JECH’50 in Saint-Étienne
Organized by the Georges Friedel laboratory and the SPIN center, the Heterogeneous Kinetics Study Days will take place at the School on March 28 and 29.
Established in 1969, they bring together the French community of the discipline every year. “Heterogeneous Kinetics is a field of physical chemistry that addresses the study of reaction rates in systems involving one or more interfaces. It is widely used in industry for material synthesis or the study of their durability.”
Designed to encourage exchange, these days give a special place to young researchers, as the first day is dedicated to presentations by doctoral students, followed by the presentation of the Jean Besson Prize, which rewards the best scientific and pedagogical communication.
Friday morning will be reserved for presentations by established researchers.
