On September 26, 55 students from the ISMIN 2017 class presented their experiences within the Entrepreneurship VISA to all 1st and 2nd-year students. This day provides an opportunity to introduce newcomers to the importance of an entrepreneurial mindset for today’s engineers and to explain how this educational module operates.

The entrepreneurship awareness day held on the Georges Charpak Provence campus was led by Michel Fiocchi, Entrepreneurship Delegate, Marie Breziski, coordinator of the Pepite Paca-Ouest Programme, Julie Van Dang, coordinator of Entrepreneuriales in PACA, and Christian Rey, founder of the Marseille Innovation incubator.

Second-year ISMIN students who participated in an entrepreneurial action such as a startup weekend or hackathon last year shared their experiences with all students and campus partners.

The jury validated all visas and rewarded two students for the quality of their pitches: the “Coup de Cœur” award for Clarisse Tarrou (36h Chrono); the Jury Prize for Tuan Anh Bach (Les Entrep’ in PACA, team member of the Building Washing Robot project).
Both received the beautiful book “Le grand livre du biomimétisme. S’inspirer de la nature pour inventer demain” (Dunod editions).
