Does your company wish to validate a proof of concept by developing a product prototype? Entrust the study and implementation of your project to our engineering students specializing in microelectronics and computer science.
Mines Saint-Étienne offers you the opportunity to benefit from their technical skills by responding to the call for projects for the 2019-2020 academic year.

During their second year of training, ISMIN students are entrusted with managing a design and implementation project on behalf of an industrial client.

Your request will be handled by a group of students within a high-quality scientific and technical framework supervised by a professor-researcher from the Centre of Microelectronics in Provence.

This pedagogical activity, the common thread of the academic year, aims to implement the managerial and technical skills acquired during the core curriculum training:

  • In the first semester, the project team takes ownership of the client’s requirements, refines them, conducts a preliminary study, and focuses on proposing a technical solution before drafting a collaboration agreement. They are supported by courses in management, industrial law, and project management.
  • In the second semester, following a detailed study phase in February, students work full-time on the project’s implementation, with regular progress meetings followed by an acceptance report in June.

Examples of projects conducted in 2019

Our students, placed in a micro-design office setting, will support you in creating a prototype for one of your future products within the campus’s areas of expertise: IoT, energy management and harvesting, medical devices, embedded software, mobile applications, security, and more.

>> You may now respond to the call for projects via this online form (by August 31, 2019)

A steering committee will verify the feasibility of your request within this educational framework in early September. Projects are then assigned to the students.
