A spin-off of the school, the startup Imope—a web mapping tool—is one of nine startups selected nationwide to participate in this forum. Jonathan Villot and Maximilien Brossard, the project leads, successfully pitched during the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Auditions for the Innovative Territories Label and startup competition.
The Forum des Interconnectés, the “essential event for digital technology and territories,” will be held on December 4 and 5, 2018, in Lyon (Pôle Pixel). It brings together 900 participants, including elected officials, executives, and project managers from local authorities, to discuss digital challenges and the smart city for the public sector.
Nine French regions organized a competition to select the “Interconnectés winners.” For the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region, only one startup, IMOPE, was selected by the jury following the audition held on November 2.
We extend our congratulations to Jonathan Villot and Maximilien Brossard for the quality of their audition. They will receive free access to both days of the event, a presentation space, and a dedicated time to showcase their work to the public.
This is a great opportunity to present the Imope application, a web mapping tool designed to process territorial data and address the challenges of urban energy efficiency.
“The Imope project (a sub-component of the Saint-Étienne Smart City project) aims to address the lack of information and tools available to housing stakeholders. Its goal is to facilitate the consolidation, visualization, and understanding of territorial data, while providing the necessary elements for rapid targeting of buildings that should be prioritized for renovation as part of large-scale building stock renovation efforts.“
