The project partners laid the final bricks of the MedTechLab smart apartment during the launch of #FutureMedicine: a great success and a flagship partnership project based on innovative development models. Warm congratulations are extended to all the teams at the Centre for Biomedical and Healthcare Engineering.

The #FutureMedicine scientific and technological platform was successfully inaugurated on June 14 at the Campus Santé Innovations in the presence of more than 120 participants, guests, and partners.
This partnership project of Mines Saint-Étienne Tech is conducted with the Loire department, Saint-Étienne Métropole, Caisse d’Épargne Loire Drôme Ardèche, Eovi Mcd Mutuelle – Groupe AÉSIO, Eovi Santé et Services, the Fédération Nationale de la Mutualité Française, and IMT.

This platform will foster innovation through direct interaction with faculty researchers, healthcare professionals, and industry partners, building on innovative development models and design thinking approaches.

MedTechLab, MedTechDesign, 3D FabLab, virtual hospital, surgical simulator, artificial intelligence laboratory, inhaled particles… participants were able to discover the seven technological hubs dedicated to the medicine of the future.
The organization of spaces, operations, and the experimentation-based approach were presented by researchers from the Centre for Biomedical and Healthcare Engineering and illustrated through various application examples:
