The annual event dedicated to innovation took place at the Maison des Mines et des Ponts in Paris on June 15, in the presence of European academic and industrial partners.

This 3rd edition, which welcomed nearly 50 participants, was punctuated by two highlights.

  • The presentation of the European Student Innovation 5.0 Award, with 8 projects presented by students from Poland, Germany, Romania, Italy, Spain, and France.
  • Innovation sessions: presentation of European industry case studies, EU educational solutions for the transition to 5.0, professional training offers and experiments, and avant-garde projects in line with the principles of Society 5.0.

2 ICM students win the ‘Market Impact Award’ at the 3rd CoDEMO Innovation Event

Two innovation projects, PRICE finalists, were represented by four students to compete for the CoDEMO 5.0 prize in Paris:

  • The Endoprev project represented by Hanaé MESSIFET and Moira ALKEMADE: a digital platform connecting patients with endometriosis with researchers to accelerate the development of treatments.
  • The Re-Zircone project represented by Elias GHOSEIN and Jason ABDALLAH: a circular recycling solution for dental ceramic waste into high-value-added clinical raw materials.

They competed for the CoDEMO 5.0 Prize alongside European students.

“Co-Creative Decision-Makers for 5.0 Organizations”: 3 years for an ambitious programme

The closing meeting of the CoDEMO project, reserved for partners, took place on June 16.
This final meeting was dedicated to the final assessment of result indicators and project deliverables.
Lasting three years (2024-2026), the European project implemented to meet the training needs of future industry and healthcare managers is led by Xavier Boucher, in collaboration with Raksmey Phan and Nathalie Douard.
