The Master of Science in Engineering Prospective Design (PRODE) is a national Master of Science in Engineering degree. It therefore falls under a regulated tuition fee system in public institutions. Depending on your status (initial training, work-study, international, returning to studies), several options are available to fund the year.
Tuition and mandatory fees
National tuition fees (set by the Ministry)
Amounts may vary slightly each year.
- European students (EU / EEA / Switzerland):
€254 / year - Non-European Union students
€3,941 / year
Other mandatory fees
- Student and Campus Life Contribution (CVEC) ≈ €105 / year
Mandatory annual fee payable by all students enrolled in initial education (except scholarship holders). It must be paid before administrative registration. - Civil liability insurance
Mandatory for all educational activities, including access to technological platforms and internships.
Project Budget
Depending on the projects, it may be useful to plan a budget for:
- printing / light prototyping,
- travel (visits, field trips, partners),
- software/tools (for specific needs beyond institutional licenses).

Master’s Thesis Compensation (Long Internship)
- Mandatory stipend
The mandatory internship of 4 to 6 months (Master’s Thesis) entitles students to a mandatory minimum monthly stipend in accordance with French legislation. - Mobility Grants
Internships conducted at international partner laboratories may be eligible for additional mobility grants (Erasmus+, regional aid).
