Develop a triple expertise in design, engineering, and management to lead responsible innovation
The Master of Science in Engineering Prospective Design (PRODE) recruits candidates based on their application who wish to acquire hybrid expertise combining design, engineering, and management. This program enables leading responsible innovation projects that integrate eco-design, sustainability, and value creation challenges. Admission is open to national and international applicants.
Selection is based on application review (and, if applicable, an interview), to assess the coherence of the academic background, motivation, project maturity, and ability to commit to a demanding project-based program.
The Master of Science in Engineering is primarily taught in French. A good understanding of English is recommended to utilize professional resources and references.
Target Audience and Prerequisites
The Master of Science in Engineering PRODE is aimed at candidates wishing to articulate a design culture (approach, uses, conception), an understanding of technical constraints (engineering), and an ability to lead projects (management), while integrating sustainability and transformation challenges.

- ability to produce documented deliverables (report, design file, portfolio, defense);
- sensitivity to sustainability challenges (eco-design, impacts, transitions);
- confirmed interest in innovation (products, services, processes) and its constraints.
Language Requirements
- Instruction: Master of Science in Engineering primarily taught in French.
- English: a good understanding of English (resources, readings, professional vocabulary) is recommended.
- International applicants: proficiency in written and spoken French is highly recommended to follow courses and complete the internship.
Application Procedure
Selection, carried out by the academic committee, takes place in three stages.
1. Submission of the application file
The complete application file must contain, at a minimum, the following documents:
- Curriculum Vitae (CV), detailing your academic background and professional experience/internships.
- Motivation Letter, explaining your professional project and its relevance to the Master of Science in Engineering.
- Official Transcripts for your entire academic career (Bachelor’s and Master 1).
- Diplomas: copies of your previous diplomas.
- English Proficiency Certificate (TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS or equivalent) if English is not the applicant’s native language or language of instruction.
- French Language Test (TEF, DELF…) for non-French-speaking students.
- Recommendations: academic and/or professional recommendation letters (optional depending on the application platform).
A. French and European Union applicants
B. International Applicants: “Études en France” Procedure
If you are a foreign student not a national of the EEA (nor Switzerland/Monaco/Andorra) and reside in a country covered by “Études en France”, you must complete two steps:
This step is essential to obtain a visa and may also provide access to scholarships.
International students are encouraged to apply as early as possible.
