Programme fees

The total cost of the TECTO – Ecological and Climate Transition for Territories and Organisations programme is set at:

  • €12,500 excl. VAT for companies;
  • €10,000 excl. VAT for public and semi-public institutions and local authorities.

What the fee includes

  • Access to the entire programme (academic training, workshops, assignments).
  • Individual support (mentoring, academic follow-up, professional thesis).
  • Field assignments and group projects.
  • Access to Mines Saint-Étienne resources and facilities.

Qualification awarded

  • For individuals who can provide evidence of a CTI-accredited engineering degree:
    Specialised engineering degree accredited by the CTI (RNCP 40958).
  • For holders of a Master’s degree (M2) or an equivalent Bac+5 qualification:
    Institutional diploma.

Funding options (depending on your status)

The programme is open as a work-study programme to apprenticeship or professionalisation contracts, employees, self-employed individuals, job seekers, and career changers.

Each status provides access to specific support and funding.

🔹 Apprenticeship or professionalisation contract

The cost of the programme is covered by the host company, with a contribution from its OPCO (Skills Operator).
The learner receives a salary throughout the duration of the contract.

Benefits

  • No tuition fees payable by the student, except for the Student and Campus Life Contribution (CVEC).
  • Monthly remuneration according to the current statutory scale.
  • Valuable professional experience and easier entry into employment.

🔹 Continuing education (employees, self-employed, career change)

Several schemes can fund the programme, in full or in part:

  • the company’s Skills Development Plan,
  • Transition Pro, Transition Co,
  • OPCO funding,
  • France Travail (individual support for job seekers).

💬 Candidates can be supported by the Mines Saint-Étienne continuing education department to identify the solution best suited to their situation.


Individualised support

Once their application has been approved, learners benefit from:

  • a personalised interview with the administrative team to review funding options,
  • assistance with preparing applications (OPCO, apprenticeship, etc.),
  • administrative and financial follow-up throughout the programme.

An Accredited and Recognized Program

The TECTO program – Ecological and Climate Transition of Territories and Organizations is a specialized engineering program, accredited by the Commission des Titres d’Ingénieur (CTI).

The program is registered in the National Directory of Professional Certifications (RNCP 40958).

It awards a specialized engineering degree, recognized by the State and industry, equivalent to Bac + 6.
