The staff day was held under the century-old trees of the historic Saint-Étienne campus on Tuesday, July 7. An essential gathering for colleagues to meet, discuss their missions, and also relax and make wonderful discoveries!

This year, the Mines Saint-Étienne staff gathering brought together nearly 200 people from the Aix-Marseille-Provence campus and the various Saint-Étienne sites.

Following an introductory speech in which Jacques Fayolle, Director of Mines Saint-Étienne, emphasized the strength and richness of the collective, participants were able to test their knowledge of the school and its programs through interactive workshops.

The rest of the day featured informal activities, coordinated by the Quality of Work Life Monitoring Committee (CSQVT): board games, darts, karaoke, sophrology, urban hiking, presentation of the school’s geological collection… Something to satisfy everyone’s interests, whether newly arrived or a long-standing member of staff.

Everyone was able to enjoy the event and leave with wonderful memories!
