Meeting of the GDR Morphology and Aggregation Phenomena
On June 5 and 6, the School hosted the 2nd Scientific Days of the GDR MORPHEA. The CNRS Morphology and Aggregation Phenomena research group relies on a strong synergy between researchers in process engineering and applied mathematics for the understanding and modeling of particulate processes and procedures. More than 40 participants, including researchers and industry professionals, gathered to discuss recent advances in this field.

EDSIS Annual Day
The Research Day of the Science, Engineering, and Health Doctoral School is taking place this year on the Tréfilerie campus of Jean Monnet University on Thursday, June 13.
It is dedicated to the professional integration of doctoral students, with the flagship theme “Innovation and Entrepreneurship”. Three highlights will punctuate the event:
– Conferences starting at 9:30 AM, which will provide precise and objective insight into possible careers after a PhD, particularly in innovation.
– The poster session at 11:00 AM featuring the work of 2nd and 3rd-year doctoral students: the 12 finalist posters will be presented in a plenary session before the awards ceremony at 4:30 PM.
– The round table at 1:30 PM, moderated by doctoral students, with the participation of David Perrin (Predisurge), Sébastien Saunier (CEO of Optiwaves), Frédéric Prochazka (Jean Monnet University), Marie-Hélène Gramatikoff (CEO of LACTIPS), Gaylord Guilloneau (École Centrale Lyon), and Julie Cazal (Research and Innovation Department).

CMP Research Day
Every year, the Centre of Microelectronics in Provence organizes a “Review, perspectives, and networking” meeting at the Campus G Charpak Provence. Highlights, doctoral student pitches, scientific sessions by researchers, and several focuses on the flagship activities of the #IoT Mines Saint-Étienne Tech Campus punctuated the day, providing an opportunity to showcase the wealth of resources and expertise at the Campus, which are essential to research and innovation activities.
