Following the success of the first European Researchers’ Night in Saint-Étienne, the 28th edition of the Science Festival began: more than 100 participants across the department offered new scientific adventures.
These events were highly successful and well-attended, similar to the science village and the opening day of the G. Charpak Provence campus.
Science Villages in Celebration
“Telling science, imagining the future”: 140 scientific activities and 4 science villages were offered during the Science Festival from October 4 to 13 in the Loire department, an event coordinated by La Rotonde. “A wonderful immersion in science and technology, a festive and friendly atmosphere”.
The Saint-Étienne Science Village welcomed over 5,200 visitors to the Puits Couriot Mining Park-Museum. About thirty project leaders and as many themes (astronomy, chemistry, biology, robotics, cinematography, light, acoustics, fluid mechanics, molecular cuisine, discovering Scratch, virtual reality, illusion of movement, dubbing, computer-assisted music, electromagnetism…) and various types of mediation.
