Sandrine Bonny & Dominique Berthet, delegates for Responsible Digital Technology, reviewed the key initiatives and concrete actions undertaken during this event.
The month of March was marked by the 3rd edition of the Responsible Digital Technology Festival. It was an invitation to question the very notion of ‘responsible’ as applied to digital technology. This event highlighted the current challenges related to the digital transition, while proposing concrete actions to address them.
Among other things, and in figures, the 2026 Responsible Digital Technology Festival is:
🖥️ the cleanup of 466 GB from email inbox sorting during the Digital Clean Days period, representing 12.5% of the total volume;
🖥️ a volumetric reduction of 2 TB from Seafile;
🖥️ 640 GB freed up by deleting about ten obsolete virtual machines;
🖥️ the presence of 110 people for the screening of the film “Le sang et la boue” (Blood and Mud), which explores the devastating impacts of coltan extraction, at Le Méliès Saint-François cinema.
The Responsible Digital Technology Festival also supported seniors from OSPA (Office Stéphanois Pour les Aînés) to develop their digital autonomy. A cybersecurity conference was also on the programme to share best digital practices.
Thank you to the organizing teams and to everyone who attended the Responsible Digital Technology Festival; we look forward to seeing many of you next year!
