Since 2018, Mines Saint-Étienne has been a member of the Collège des Hautes Études de Lyon. CHELS brings together 8 member or associate institutions of the University of Lyon: the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon, Centrale Lyon, École Normale Supérieure de Lyon, Mines Saint-Étienne, Sciences Po Lyon, VetAgro Sup, emlyon business school, and Jean Moulin Lyon 3 University.

The collective has launched an Inter-Institutional Diploma, a one-year transdisciplinary training programme that leads students to reflect on major transitions to build the world of tomorrow.

This year, CHELS is reopening its doors to students at BAC +3, BAC +4, and BAC +5 levels for a second intake under the theme “Major Transitions: Measuring and Understanding to Act“.
Through these interdisciplinary courses, discovery weeks, and practical applications within CHELS institutions, you will develop your knowledge and skills regarding climate and environmental changes.
