Hiroki Yamazaki, Vice President of Nippon Electric Glass (NEG), visited Mines Saint-Étienne. A partner and patron of our School and the Georges Friedel Laboratory through the Mines-Télécom Foundation, this partnership contributes to supporting scientific research and the work of researchers.
Nippon Electric Glass is a company specializing in the manufacture of specialty glass used to protect electronic devices. Beyond this global technological leadership, NEG is engaged in a dynamic of rigorous scientific collaboration, particularly around micromechanics issues, which are central to numerous industrial applications.
Mr. Yamazaki’s visit strengthened already solid ties with our School and opened new perspectives in terms of research and innovation. We wish to thank him for his presence and his constant commitment to this collaboration.
