Last December, we proudly published our 9th place in the ChangeNOW x Les Echos ranking. This ranking highlights schools that consider the challenges of ecological and social transition at the heart of their reflections and educational projects.

In this new year, we are pleased to highlight a new financial aid scheme to promote eco-responsible international mobility for students for the 2026-2027 academic year. This scheme has a budget of €4,000, funded by the Mines-Télécom foundation, thanks to a donation from the CEGI company.

Our objective is to encourage ICM and ISMIN students from Mines Saint-Étienne to use eco-responsible modes of transport for their international mobility by providing a flat-rate aid of €100. The following modes of transport are eligible for this scholarship:

  • Train
  • Bus/coach
  • Car-sharing
  • Bicycle
  • Boat / ferry

This aid can also be combined with the supplement to the travel cost contribution for eco-responsible transport from the Erasmus+ programme (which doubles the amount in most cases: €108 from Erasmus for a journey of 500 to 1,999 km + €100 from MSE).

It should be noted that daily mobility aid had already been implemented by Mines Saint-Etienne. It allows students to receive up to €100 in aid for the purchase of a bicycle or related equipment (safety equipment, helmet, light, luggage rack, etc.).
