Present in Saint-Étienne for the national congress of medical interns on February 21, Olivier Véran, Minister of Solidarity and Health, honored us with a visit to the Centre for Biomedical and Healthcare Engineering and the #FutureMedicine platform on the health innovations campus.

Welcomed by Pascal Ray, Director of the School, in the presence of local and institutional representatives, as well as scientific and academic leaders from the Campus, Olivier Veran discovered medical innovations, facilities, and experiments dedicated to the medicine of the future and met with doctoral students and faculty researchers.

The teams from the Centre for Biomedical and Healthcare Engineering, the Sainbiose and Limos laboratories*, came together to provide an hour-long presentation of the interdisciplinary and collaborative research conducted within the MedTechLab**, 3D FabLab, virtual hospital, and inhaled particles technology hubs.

“The medicine of tomorrow is being prepared in Saint-Étienne, supported by a network working with collective intelligence, from the patient’s bedside to the researcher, and from the researcher to the patient. Innovation at the service of health—that is the key! Thank you and congratulations.”
