Thank you to the staff and students who are providing their support, help, and initiatives to contribute to the collective effort.
Production and Donation of Hand Sanitizer on Demand
After donating 7,500 masks and 500 gloves from the cleanroom, the Georges Charpak Provence Campus prepared and supplied 20 liters of hand sanitizer to the Aix-en-Provence city hall, which will redirect them to its extensive distribution network (hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, the Red Cross, city employees, or volunteers…). More can be produced upon request. Well done and thank you to the school teams in Gardanne.

Our Students Reinforcing Pharmacies and Emergency Services
Thomas Ledoux, a student in the ICM pharmacy-engineering dual degree program, is currently mobilized to provide reinforcement in pharmacies. He is working shifts in a pharmacy where he had already worked during his studies. Thank you to him for his commitment.
“Following the exceptional situation caused by COVID-19, I decided to help in my own way. Therefore, I responded to a pharmacy that was short-staffed during this period. In addition to the usual duties, we inform patients daily to come only if necessary and remind them of the protective measures against the virus. Furthermore, we distribute masks free of charge to healthcare professionals so they can continue to practice safely. I am happy to provide my support at a time when we must all stand in solidarity.”
Yanir Choubane, a 3rd-year ICM student in the medical-engineering track, is also mobilized in the fight against Covid-19 as a nurse/nursing assistant in the Emergency Department at Lariboisière. Well done and a big thank you to him as well for this solidarity initiative.
“I am in the 24-48h unit for emergency patients awaiting hospitalization. I am in contact with patients for care, meals, potentially taking their vitals, and disinfecting rooms, all while using COVID-19 protection. I also handle patient transport. In this role, we also perform nursing tasks and must always be on the lookout to restock what is missing.”
