The “Bienvenue en France” label is awarded to institutions that wish to highlight the quality of their welcome for international students. Awarded by Campus France for a period of 5 years, the label contributes to the internationalization and attractiveness of higher education in France.
The indicators of this attractiveness include the implementation of scholarships and mobility programmes, support for foreign students and researchers during their relocation, and the facilitation of international mobility for French students. Actions must be concrete and follow the students’ journey from initial inquiries about the institution to post-graduation follow-up (employment assistance, international alumni network, etc.).
The label’s experts visited the School last May, and the Accreditation Commission subsequently awarded Mines Saint-Étienne level 3 of the “Bienvenue en France” label. This is the highest level we could receive.
Awarded institutions benefit from visibility on all Campus France agency websites, tools, and communication materials, as well as within its diplomatic network. This represents genuine added value, providing strong indicators of the capacity of French institutions to welcome international students.
