Up To Start is a competition organized by IMT for the past 2 years. Each year, our TEAM incubator is proud to support the winners, who can win up to 20,000 euros.
This year, the Agil2Pro project, led by Khaled Medini, a lecturer-researcher at the Institut Fayol of Mines Saint-Étienne and a member of the LIMOS laboratory, was recognized among promising projects at the 2025 edition. His work is part of applied research. He focuses on the agile transformation of companies, by better connecting processes and project-based management.
His approach is progressive: design, test, improve. In this context, he explores the adaptation of agile and hybrid practices to sustainably strengthen corporate agility, while also working on process improvement, particularly through modeling and simulation. What award did you win?
The Agil2Pro startup project is a winner of the Up To Start 2025–2026 competition, with an endowment equivalent to €5,000, combining financial support and mentorship.
Can you tell us about your project?
According to a McKinsey study, 66% of companies engaged in agile transformation do not achieve the expected results, notably due to a lack of revision of structures and processes. The startup project Agil2Pro offers a tool-based approach that helps structure, monitor, and improve these elements, drawing on feedback and concrete cases.
What is the objective of your startup?
The objective is to transform an already functional prototype into a deployable solution, and then to test it with pilot organizations. Ultimately, the ambition is to offer a simple solution: a tool usable daily, with methodological support as needed.
What will the competition’s financial endowment allow you to do?
It will help structure the project (e.g., branding, distribution) and accelerate development by integrating improvements identified from initial feedback. The support also helps better define the deployment and initial partnerships.
