Mines Saint-Étienne in Erasmus training in Edinburgh and Sofia; on mission in Korea and Japan: initiatives that enable us to capitalize on international mobility experiences and leverage them for our exchange programmes and the internationalization of our curricula.

“International Staff Week – Useful Information and programme handbook”

Elisabeth Goutin, mobility officer, participated from April 16 to 20 in the Erasmus training offered in Edinburgh and Amsterdam. A programme that focused on international student mobility, best practices, and initiatives to enhance students’ experiences within their home institution.
This mission enabled fruitful meetings with our international partners, particularly University College Dublin, Fudan University, National University of Singapore…

Adsin Aoufi, research engineer at the SMS center, completed two weeks of teaching mobility in Sofia, Bulgaria, also funded by Erasmus under our agreement.
This stay at the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy provided an opportunity to present the school, its French-language and international programmes (master’s and doctoral programmes), and to deliver several training sessions to students in the French-language track in chemical and biochemical engineering.
This track offers a five-year programme in French (a two-year integrated preparatory cycle followed by a three-year engineering cycle) leading to an engineering degree at master’s level.

Meeting with our Korean and Japanese partners

Woo-Suck Han, Korea-Japan coordinator for the School, is conducting an academic mission from April 21 to May 9 with various school partners.
