This year, 64 students participated in the collaborative innovation experience: they designed 10 projects around the theme “Health and Well-being: a Societal Challenge,” brilliantly defended before a professional jury. This team-building exercise is part of the innovative pedagogical approach of the ISMIN curriculum.
The Innov’Actions days, organized from February 11 to 13 on the Georges Charpak Provence campus in partnership with Aix Marseille Provence Métropole and PEPITE PACA-Ouest, were co-hosted by Olivier Christol, Maïeutik & Co Cabinet, and Nathalie Baud, Perspectives Ressources.
Over three days, 62 ISMIN engineering students and 2 students from Sciences-Po and Kedge Business School imagined, developed, experimented with, and pitched their projects, ultimately experiencing a wonderful collective intelligence journey.
Frédéric Pithoud, patron of the ISMIN 2019 graduating class, CEO of EDITAG and president of “Entrepreneuriales en PACA,” opened the event, emphasizing the concept of well-being at work as an essential driver of corporate performance and sharing his perspective on innovation.
He co-chaired the jury alongside Claude Cohen-Bacrie, co-founder and scientific director of Supersonic Imagine.
The second day, dedicated to idea development, concluded with a “Proaction Café” where a dozen experts, startuppers, incubation professionals or business coaches, and nutrition or health professionals shared their insights and advised the students.
10 projects were proposed: SpineUp (connected suspenders to correct posture at work and prevent back problems), RIDE (Dream big, RIDE free), Speak Forward (To regain straightforward speech!), Bro’celet (a bracelet to group them all!), Aqualis (Don’t you think about hydrating? Aqualis is here to remind you), WeSens (smart headphones that allow you to select sounds and voices around you), YouPill (my pill always with me!), Ball Up (Free your team spirit!), Umbrelib’ (Tame the weather!), SamSon (Good sleep).
“A big bravo to everyone for your involvement and the proposed deliverables,” with special mention to the two winning projects: the jury prize went to SpineUp (the solution that sets you straight) and the ‘coup de cœur’ (favorite) prize to WeSens (Forget the noise, select what really matters).
