EOVI, Les Ateliers du Haut Forez, and Mines Saint-Étienne have partnered to imagine the bed of the future: the project was presented during the 12th DEFI-Autonomie days on November 19 and 20. Mines Saint-Étienne and EOVI will sign a partnership agreement on the same day, formalizing two years of collaboration focused on the health and quality of life of seniors.
The smart bed project, a collaboration between Ateliers du Haut Forez, Eovi-Mcd Santé et services, and École des Mines de Saint-Étienne, described as “larger, more comfortable, and equipped with new technologies for monitoring frailties with the aim of preventing dependency,” is shortlisted for the Golden Challenges of the DEFI-Autonomie 2018 days, of which our school is a partner.
