On Friday, September 4, students from the first cohort of this European joint programme gathered at Mines Saint-Étienne to receive their degrees, following two years spent in France, Italy, and Germany. They passed the torch to the new students, who were beginning their first term.
These 24 students, representing 11 different nationalities, made a final stop at 158, cours Fauriel, where Jacques Fayolle welcomed them and their families for the graduation ceremony.
In this way, the very first cohort of the Erasmus Mundus MULTIPHASE Master of Science in Engineering celebrated the completion of a training path shared across three institutions: Mines Saint-Étienne, the Polytechnic University of Turin, and the Technical University of Munich.
Start of the 2026-2028 cohort
On the same day, 25 students from the new cohort began their studies at the school, where they will spend a full term before heading to another campus.
Representing 15 different nationalities, they are about to embark on a unique intercultural experience that promises to be both academically and personally rewarding!
3 degrees and a strong international standing
The Erasmus Mundus MULTIPHASE Master of Science in Engineering is designed as a consortium between the three partner schools and is characterized by:
- Mobility between campuses
- An academic and industrial network with international reach
This curriculum also allows students to earn three degrees, awarded by the different institutions attended.
Combining research projects, cutting-edge teaching, and corporate experience, it trains a new generation of industrial experts, engineers, and researchers dedicated to a more sustainable chemical industry.
