Students from the three ICM cohorts gathered to share their experience of the PRICE and civic projects (*) conducted last year within the curriculum. Three Innovation, Creation and Entrepreneurship projects were recognized, receiving the staff award, the student award, and the management & partner Worldline Atos award, respectively.
The 2018 Project Forum took place on September 21 at La Rotonde. It brings together all ICM students annually: the 3rd-year students presented their PRICE projects, while the 2nd-year students presented their civic projects. This exercise allows them to explain, synthesize, and convince their audience in just a few minutes, and to share their project experience with the new cohort through interactive booths.
Staff and students then voted by ballot exclusively for the PRICE projects: the most accomplished, the most promising, the most convincing presentation—several criteria were used to determine the winners.
A prize of €1,000 and two prizes of €500 were awarded to the winning students:
- The staff award went to Stansea (supervised by David Molié, project tutor): participation in the creation and modeling of a mother-of-pearl powder production facility.
- The 1st-year student award recognized the Eco-Heat project: an innovative isothermal product—development and launch of the start-up.
- The ‘favorite’ award from management and the sponsor was given to the “Industrial Company Acquisition” project: building the company acquisition process and conducting a technical-commercial study of the region’s potential, thereby issuing recommendations and identifying potential targets.
