On Tuesday, October 7 in the morning, Augustin Montoussé Du Lyon, Territorial Director of Enedis Loire, and Jacques Fayolle, Director of Mines Saint-Etienne, signed a partnership agreement between their two institutions.

In the face of the environmental, technological, and societal changes of our time, Mines Saint-Étienne and Enedis share common missions: training future executives who are aware of the challenges of electrifying our practices (energy transport monitoring and data processing) and innovation to connect our society to a more sustainable world.

As Eric Duflot, Director of Performance and Development, emphasized, this strategic partnership highlights the school’s missions:

  • training our future engineers for careers in energy,
  • promoting women in engineering,
  • opening scientific culture to a broad audience,
  • supporting the economic development of companies addressing these challenges.

Faced with these challenges and with this agreement, Enedis and Mines Saint-Etienne reaffirm their commitment to the energy transition, technological innovation, and the training of future talent.
