The collaborative, multidisciplinary Dynamo Days event at Mines Saint-Étienne will take place on March 5 and 6, 2019. It will involve all Civil Engineering students at Mines and the School’s staff, with the aim of taking on new, innovative challenges this year on the theme of health.

“Topics are being considered related to technological innovations for health, topics addressing the role of users in our society, intergenerational issues, personal care, disadvantaged people ….”

Do you have an issue to resolve within your organisation? Have you identified a promising topic in the field of health?

Whether you are a company, a start-up, a local authority or an association in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, submit your challenge via this link before December 15, 2018.

Teams made up of 8 to 10 students and staff will need to go beyond the concept and produce an “object” or a summary document, depending on the request set out from the outset in the challenge.
The principle: a co-creative and dynamic approach, in an innovative educational format (creativity sessions, prototyping), providing an insight into working methods found in many other hackathon-type challenges.

The objective is to raise awareness of the challenges facing our society and to propose practical, local solutions, supported by a scientific approach.

• A method inspired by “design thinking”, as well as keynotes and social moments.
• Coaches who act as facilitators and method guides.
• Technical coaches who are experts in the topics addressed.
