As part of the 4th edition of Data City by NUMA/City of Paris, URBS (via its IMOPE solution), a spin-off of Mines Saint-Étienne, was the winner of the “Accelerating the energy renovation of housing” challenge: the results of this project were revealed during the final presentation on June 12 at the Paris City Hall in the presence of over 1,000 participants.

“The City of Paris has set a goal to reduce energy consumption by 50% by 2050. The challenge launched by Enedis brought together several partners to create a multi-energy data platform, including URBS via its Imope solution. Its field of study focused on the 13th arrondissement of Paris, where 5,000 buildings (a volume of over 100,000 housing units) were modeled.
The Imope solution, led by Jonathan Villot and Maximilien Brossard, made it possible to characterize each building with a number of indicators.”

“In the next 12 months, the Paris Climate Agency will be able to take proactive steps to support co-owners and property managers identified through the IMOPE solution.”
