The Collège des Hautes Études Lyon Sciences (CHELS), of which Mines Saint-Étienne is a member, is launching its first inter-institutional diploma dedicated to major transitions.
This program transdisciplinary will run for one year, starting in September 2025.
It welcomes students from diverse backgrounds (Bac+3, Bac+4, and Bac+5 levels), without specific disciplinary prerequisites.
This diploma is structured around three axes:
- Measure and Monitor Impacts
- Understand Major Transitions
- Act for Change
Its pedagogical objectives are manifold:
- Master transdisciplinarity
- Develop a systemic transdisciplinary vision on major transitions
- Master the principles of change management
Through cross-disciplinary courses, discovery weeks in the 8 institutions of CHELS, and practical application during projects and internships, each student will develop advanced skills in current and future societal, environmental, and technological major transitions.
The pedagogical content and objectives of this new inter-institutional diploma are aligned with those of the ICM and ISMIN curricula at Mines Saint-Étienne.
For students interested in this program, applications are already open and accessible HERE.
