First-year engineering students engage in an educational activity with a civic, social, humanitarian, or cultural dimension. This hands-on project initiation takes various forms and responds to the request of an external client: why not you?

For students, mentored through the exercise, the aim is to master project management tools and methods (drafting specifications, establishing a schedule, budget management, group work, action monitoring…), but also to listen to external stakeholders and address interculturality.

Associations, local authorities, companies… submit your project for the year 2020 now.

Actions can take various forms: field study, technical creation, event organization, animation, support, initiations, scientific mediation…

It is conducted in two phases on the Saint-Étienne Campus:
– from November to mid-December 2019: understanding the client’s request and drafting specifications,
– from February to June 2020: project execution.
