On October 25, 20 engineering students from the Industrial Engineering specialization, class of 2014, received a Green Belt certification. As part of their work-study program, they undertook a trip to Sweden last June for international mobility, to complete a 4-week “Summerschool” in partnership with Jönköping University.
During their stay, they had the opportunity to obtain the “Green Belt” certification of the Six Sigma method (“a structured management method aimed at improving process quality and efficiency”).

Following the example of new classes at the École des Mines de Saint-Étienne, new engineering students in work-study Academics (specializing in Industrial Engineering / Nuclear Facilities Engineering / Energy Recovery) were welcomed at Saint-Étienne City Hall by Corinne L’Harmet Odin and Jean-Jacques Pauzon on November 14.
For the majority of them, this was an opportunity to discover the city, as 55% are not from the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Region.
