A long-standing partner of the SPIN research centre, Hanoï University of Mining and Geology (HUMG) visited Mines Saint-Étienne on 6 July.
The aim of the visit: to strengthen cooperation ties and move forward with joint projects.
Three directors from Hanoï University of Mining and Geology (HUMG) made the trip: Dr Trần Xuân Trường, President of HUMG, Dr Nguyễn Thị Hoài Nga, Head of the International Cooperation Office, and Dr Lê Quang Duyến, Dean of the Faculty of Petroleum and Energy.
This visit helped move forward the collaboration between HUMG and Mines Saint-Étienne on training programmes, in particular the GPIA Master of Science in Engineering (Process Engineering and Artificial Intelligence).
Setting up a decarbonisation research laboratory, shared by both institutions, was also on the agenda.
To strengthen this international cooperation, Jean-Michel Herri, a lecturer-researcher in industrial and natural process science at the SPIN research centre, will in turn visit HUMG.
