Les Entrepreneuriales 2017-2018 in PACA: four ISMIN students embarked on the adventure until March 2018.
20 engineering students also participated in the 2017 Marseille Créathon.
TEAM@Mines Saint-Étienne was present at the “Innovative Project” competition, launched for students in the PACA region, including our ISMIN students, during the Forum Centrale Marseille Entreprise.
New season of “Les Entrep!”: 5 months in the field
22 business creation projects, 22 multidisciplinary teams, 96 students, 36 coaches, supervisors, and business creation experts: the launch of Entrepreneuriales 2017-2018 took place on November 9 in Marseille.
Four ISMIN engineering students are participating in the adventure: Tuan Anh Bach, team member of the Building Washing Robot project, Corentin Bourlet, team member of the musical synchronization project, Kohongo Kouassi and Anahit Tchawa, team members of the collaborative platform project.
We will, of course, follow them with interest as the programme will run until March 2018: all students will spend 5 months in the field to move from an idea to a “ready-to-use” Business Plan.

20 ISMIN engineering students participated in the 2017 Marseille Créathon
As part of the Entrepreneurship Visa deployed in the ISMIN cycle, 20 first and second-year students participated in the “SwitchUp Challenge” Créathon on November 11 and 12. This challenge supports the creation of innovative and technological projects to provide solutions for sustainable development goals.
42 participants and 10 projects supported in their conceptualization and prototyping: teams and ideas with high potential.
Several ISMIN students participated in the “Innovative technologies and solutions” theme within the “Ethic Shower” projects (a closed-circuit shower
that ecologically filters used water and avoids waste) and “Walk Energy” (a rechargeable piezoelectric shoe that allows users to produce their own energy while walking). They are highlighted in the attached summary document.

Participation in the Forum Centrale Marseille Entreprises
The Forum Centrale Marseille Entreprises, the FOCEEN, celebrated its 10th edition this year on November 14. As a generalist event, it establishes itself year after year as the largest engineering forum in South-East France, in which many of our ISMIN students participate.
This year, an “Innovative Project” competition was launched for students in the region, and TEAM@Mines Saint-Étienne was invited to participate in the jury alongside Guy Puech (founder of Altersis), Jerôme Vuillemot (financial director of Crédit Agricole Alpes Provence), and Alain Saboret (administrator of Réseau Entreprendre).
