From 16 to 27 March, the 3rd edition of the Responsible Digital Festival will take place at Mines Saint-Étienne, on the Provence and Saint-Étienne campuses.
For the third consecutive year, Mines Saint-Étienne is organising this festival, which forms part of the strategy for the digital transition and for sustainable development and our School’s social responsibility. True to its ambition to be a School of responsible engineers and a driver of innovation with societal impact, it examines the impact of digital technology on people in their daily lives and on the environment.
This event is part of the action plan implemented by the School, which has enabled it to become one of the first engineering schools to be awarded the “Responsible Digital Level 1” label by the Institut du Numérique Responsable, a label renewed in November 2025.
Numerous workshops and talks will be offered to the public to support, raise awareness and promote good digital practices:
- Workshop: Inbox clean-up and email best practices
- OSPA workshop: risks in boarding school, and how to address them?
- Digital footprint workshop / Tech battle
- AI webinar
- Screening of the film “Blood and Mud” at the Méliès St François cinema
We look forward to seeing many of you to reflect collectively on the impact of digital technology on our daily lives!
